Team Vega finished in the top 300 (out of 481) in 26 hours 30 minutes.
The event officially ended at CP7 for the team due to adverse whether
conditions at the summit of Mt Donna Buang (-2 degrees C, 10-15m visibility). The total distance traversed up to CP7 was 88.5km.
The team was disappointed to be told to stop at CP7 after
conquering the course up to this point. The team's enthusiasm was
not diminished though and there has been talk of finishing the job
next year.
